The Ultimate Meal

If money were no object and you didn’t have to worry about health issues, what would be your ultimate meal? 

Not your last meal, but a meal you would really and truly enjoy consuming.

Would it be something simple like a juicy burger on a soft bun with bacon, mushrooms and cheese with crispy fries and apple pie? 

Or perhaps something comforting, like a chicken pot pie and cheesecake?

Maybe you would go the ‘whole hog’ and have an enormous feast consisting of every possible food there is.

Whatever you would choose, it will be your ultimate meal.

As for me, I enjoy so many different foods that it would be hard for me to pick.  I would have to go with the massive feast so that I could pick and choose what I want.  However, it would have to include any or all of the following in any shape or form:

Scallops, clams on the half shell, prawns/shrimp, salmon, filet mignon, venison, spinach, butternut squash, corn, leeks, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, garlic, cheeses such as Brie, Camembert, mozzarella, ricotta, Munster and Blue Stilton, bread, pasta, potatoes, chocolate, ice cream, custard, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, apples, rhubarb, red wine, port, sherry and about 20 other things…oh yeah, and some water to wash it all down and probably a couple of Alka Seltzer to throw in it! 😀

So now that I’ve shared with you what MY ultimate meal would be, why not share yours with me and the rest of the world?

  1. You pose a very tricky question…well it would have to be a feast, consisting of roast goose, lentils, roast parsnips and potatoes, scallops, corn on the cob, falafel, prosciutto and sea bass….soooooooo hungry right now!
